Deaf Awareness Week with DeafKAN

DAW, or Deaf Awareness Week, is just around the corner. Typically celebrated during the fourth week of the month, Deaf Awareness Week is about honoring Deaf culture, folklore, traditions, and of course, American Sign Language. Everyone is invited to join us!

In Wichita, we will be celebrating with two fundraiser events. Both are FREE to attend. These are our BIG EVENTS of the year. We are not only raising awareness of the importance of Deaf culture, but enough funds for 2016 to bring Deaf artists and performers to as many deaf and hard of hearing kids in Kansas as possible.
